Nicole Oseguera is a pianist residing in Los Angeles. She obtained her training in classical piano from Jacqueline Salas, a student of the world-renowned concert pianist Claudio Arrau. In the midst of completing her Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance, Nicole performed in various U.S. cities including San Diego, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Washington D.C., and European cities including Rome, Florence, Dublin, and Bruges. Upon completing her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at California State University Northridge, Nicole then continued to delve further into music education and complete her Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy at California State University Fullerton. Her involvement within the multicultural communities of Los Angeles inspired her to research and arrange traditional Jewish music as a part of her Master’s thesis titled “Cultural Roots in the Jewish-American Piano Student.”
Nicole’s easy-going personality allows her to share her great passion and love of music with all her students. Her students range in age from 5 to 76 years old. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Nicole has found the perfect balance between enthusiasm and professionalism. Her teaching method is designed to accommodate each students’ individual needs, and is based on an eclectic mix of genres and styles. Above all, Nicole hopes that each one of her students will find music to be a source of release and joy.
